Our Story.

B18Designs is a veteran owned business. Who is B18?  B18 is Ricardo BarrientosMartinez, but he became B18 in the Marine Corps. How did Ricardo become B18? Ricardo’s last name is superlong, and everybody in the Marine Corps had a hard time pronouncing his last name. One day one of his superiors in Okinawa, Japan decided to call him B18 because his last name has 18 letters and it starts with “B”. Since that day everybody Knew Ricardo as B18 throughout his Marine Corps Career. B18 finished his contract in the Marine Corps, started college, and graduated with a bachelor’s in business administration. Soon after he graduated, he started a small embroidery business.
